Training Institutes
The Higher Education Center will plan and conduct two interactive skill-building Training Institutes each year of up to 100 persons to build skills and provide support to higher education campus and community teams to develop policies and programs to prevent and mitigate continued high rates and illegal use of alcohol and other drugs and violent behavior among college students.
The Training Institutes will apply evidence-based strategies to promote safe, healthy, and learning-conducive environments while reducing problems associated with alcohol, other drug abuse, and violent behavior.
